Rick Snell has over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, strategy implementation, project planning and operational assessments within non-profit organizations and the financial service industry. Rick is recognized for his genuine interest in helping organizations and individuals achieve their strategic objectives through empathetic listening, generative conversations, creative problem-solving and collaborative solutions.
Prior to offering his expertise as an independent consultant, Rick served for over a decade as an executive with YMCA of the USA, most recently serving as the Vice President - Strategy, Insights & Product Development. Rick worked with and directed multiple National Board task forces, CEO advisory groups, staff teams and 1800+ local leaders. Aligning and integrating core competencies in strategy, research and operations, Rick helped conceptualize, implement and monitor desired outcomes for numerous successful Movement wide, Alliance focused and local Y initiatives.
